 | Supervisors meet Wednesday (2/18/09), could adopt Bay Act on seaside |
PARKSLEY — The Accomack County Board of Supervisors is poised to make
decisions Wednesday [February 18, 2009] night about two areas of governance — land-use and
public utilities — that likely will affect the course of development in
the county for years to come.
Supervisors will consider adopting the Chesapeake/Atlantic Preservation
Area, which extends to Accomack County’s seaside requirements for
buffers and septic pump outs, among other requirements included in the
Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act.
