 | Sullivan, Burdiss don't quit town posts, after all |
 CAPE CHARLES -- Months of conflict many say have divided the town and
turned neighbors, friends and supporters against each other may have
drawn to a quiet close at Thursday [February 12, 2009] night's Town Council meeting when
the mayor and a town councilman reversed an earlier agreement to resign.
And while there had been a gentleman's agreement that three people
would resign together, the other two -- Mayor Dora Sullivan and
Councilman John Burdiss -- opted not to do so after all.
