News about the EnvironmentPARKSLEY — Accomack County supervisors Wednesday [February 18, 2009] approved by a 6-3 vote the immediate extension to the seaside of Chesapeake Bay Act land-use regulations, after two county landowners spoke against it during a comment period earlier in the meeting.

Voting against the Chesapeake/Atlantic Preservation Area were Wanda Thornton, Jack Gray and Donald Hart Jr.
