PARKSLEY -- Rumors that Chincoteague plans to seek a boundary
adjustment for parts of the mainland including Wallops Island resulted
in a crowd of more than 70 attendees Monday at Accomack County
Supervisor Ron Wolff's constituents' meeting, where the expansion of
municipal limits was the announced topic.
Wolff holds monthly meetings at his restaurant to discuss county
issues. He said he made the meeting about the boundary adjustment this
month to address concerns people coming into his business had expressed
that Chincoteague was going to take over large parts of northern
Accomack County around Atlantic.
