 Accomack Residents Respond to Chincoteague Annexation Plan

All about ChincoteagueCHINCOTEAGUE, Va.- The Chincoteague Town Council has laid out its proposed comprehensive plan.  The proposal includes a measure allowing a boundary adjustment or annexation of its neighboring islands, Wallops and Assateague, to increase the town's economic base.


Residents of Accomack County say it may not be a good idea.  Some people say Accomack County residents would subsequently fall under double taxation.
