I guess the folks at PETA didn't hear about the NASA
budget cut. Obama cut financial aid for the Moon Mission Project to
off-set our financial deficit. So, there will be no monkeys on the moon
or at the Wallops Island Flight facility waiting for lift-off.
Actually, there has never been any squirrel monkeys living here.
However, this didn't stop PETA from bringing three wannabes and
demonstrating at Wallops Island, VA, on Wednesday, February 3, 2010.
Local Chincoteague Island residents heard about the event and sent
scouts out there to make sure the PETA demonstrators were wearing
clothes.
