 | Passenger rail returns to Eastern Shore with dinner train (1.5 hours away) |
CAPE CHARLES
-- Passenger train service has returned to the Eastern Shore, after a
50-year absence.
Only it's not what it used to be.
There's only one passenger car now, and it's not making daily runs to
connect the shore's small towns. Also, the new routes end where they
begin, here in this town near the peninsula's south end.
